Gun Owners of America announced a collaboration with Canik USA for an exclusive GOA-themed handgun. The GOA-branded Mete MC 9 pistol will be available soon, and a portion of the sale price will go directly back to GOA to support the nonprofit’s mission.
The limited edition pistol features the organization’s signature red and blue color scheme on the frame and “GOA” right below the ejection port, has a tungsten silver slide and accents. Chambered in 9mm Luger, like other Mete MC9 pistols, the micro-compact GOA-themed pistol offers a 3.18-inch barrel inside the slide, and an overall length of 6.1 inches. The optics-ready slide offers 100% co-witness capabilities with iron sights.
“We’re so excited to have GOA and our famous “No-Compromise” branding featured on a Canik product, and we can’t thank their team and the folks over at Classic Firearms enough for their support,” stated Kailey Nieman, GOA’s Director of Development. “Just as critically, we are so excited to be making this announcement while here at GOALS, where thousands of dedicated Second Amendment activists will catch a sneak peek and can be some of the first in line to get these handguns.”
The pistol features an unloaded weight of just 21 ounces, an overall height of 4.52 inches, two magazines from the factory, and a hard case. The complete limited edition GOA Mete MC 9 pistol package has a multitude of inclusions, like a patch, a 12-round standard and a 15-round extended capacity magazine, and grip customization options. Specifically, it features an exclusive GOA patch, an IWB holster, three interchangeable backstraps, a tool kit and punch, a cleaning kit, a pinky rest, and a speed loader.
Available only through Classic Firearms, GOA members will receive a discount by entering their membership code at purchase, while non-members will receive a free membership with their purchase. There is no word yet on set pricing, but pre-orders for the special GOA MC 9 will start soon.
