Introducing the Watchtower Demolitia 2011 Pistol

From every shooting sport to duty work, there is a 2011 for everyone. You get the ergonomic controls and short trigger of a traditional 1911 pistol but with the option for higher-capacity magazines, compensators, and red dot optics. Watchtower Firearms, out of Spring, Texas, is best known for its semi-custom AR rifles but also produces the excellent Apache 2011 pistol. In conjunction with YouTube gun guru Demolition Ranch, Watchtower is expanding its lineup with the Demolitia.

The Demolitia is an all-steel double-stack 1911 platform and the first full-sized ported model in Watchtower’s lineup. It features a ported five-inch gold PVD-coated barrel offset by an aluminum flared magwell and an ambidextrous manual thumb safety with the same finish. The stippled grip frame and lightning-cut slide are made of 416R stainless steel and finished in black PVD.

This new offering features a section of machined-in Picatinny rail for a weapons light, and an adjustable gold PVD finished trigger that can be tuned to between 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 pounds. The slide release and magazine release are set on the left side of the pistol for right-handed shooters, but the manual safety and grip safety are naturally ambidextrous.

The Demolitia 2011 will be available with a standard green fiber optic front sight and blackened rear sight, along with an optics plate for the red dot of your choice. The new Watchtower Demolitia is chambered in 9mm Luger and will come with a hard case and four magazines—two 17-round magazines and two 20-round magazines. It will begin shipping in winter 2024.
