Century Arms Delivers Centurion 11 in .45 ACP

Few modern firearms are as iconic as the Model 1911 — a semi-automatic handgun that could certainly be considered John Moses Browning’s masterpiece. It was developed for the U.S. military, and even as other handguns have replaced it as the standard sidearm, it still has won favor from those in uniform. Likewise, the 1911 has been a favorite in the civilian world.

At last month’s 2024 NRA Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas, Century Arms announced the arrival of the Turkish-made Centurion 11, which pays homage to the history of the Model 1911 at an affordable price of $399.99 (MSRP).

Chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity, the Centurion 11 boasts dimensions ideal for both functionality and nostalgia

Chambered in .45 ACP with a capacity of 8+1, it features fixed iron sights, a spur hammer, GI-style grip safety, and a single action trigger with a 5.5-pound trigger pull. With an overall length of 8.6 inches, a width of 1.37 inches, a height of 5.31 inches, and a barrel length of 5.01 inches, it also has an unloaded weight of 35.5 ounces. It is shipped with a hard case and includes one magazine, a bore brush, a cleaning rod, and a bore mop.

“This is a timeless design, [and] getting one of these is like having history in your hands!” said Century Arms Marketing Coordinator Adrian Lopez.
