Magpul recently announced the release of its latest accessory for the vaunted Ruger 10/22 platform. The Magpul MOE X-22 provides an upgrade over OEM standards, bringing performance-based features at a solid retail price.
Magpul X-22 Stock Details
The MOE X-22 comprises a lightweight, budget-friendly upgrade for the popular Ruger 10/22. Upgrades include M-LOK attachment slots for accesories. A Magpul TSP on the pistol grip and custom, non-slip polymer buttpad add appeal. Integral sling swivel studs bring compatibility with Unlce Mike’s locking sling swivels. Finally, weighing in a 19 ounces, the MOE X-22 won’t weigh you down.

MOE X-22 Features:
- Two (2) M-LOK slots at the six o’clock position
- Lightweight at just over a pound (~19 oz.). Most factory stocks are almost twice that weight – if not heavier – depending on build material and design
- LOP of 13.5ʺ, a common measurement for factory stocks found on the average centerfire rifle
- Ergonomic, non-slip polymer butt-pad with angled toe
- Integral sling loops (compatible with Uncle Mike’s locking sling swivels) on toe and foreend

Here was one of the more popular items on the firing line at this year’s Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous in Idaho. You just can’t beat a good Ruger 10-22–that is, until you upgrade it! You wouldn’t think the world needs another aftermarket stock built for the 10/22 platform. But then we put some rounds downrange with this one.
