Originally released for the Benelli M4 and Beretta 1301 (below), the forend added M-LOK compatibility to the shotguns. Now, further expanding the line, the company adds the Remington 870 and Tac-14 to the list of compatible models.
The Mesa Tactical Truckee Forend for Remington 870
100% made in the U.S.A., the Truckee Forend features a 6061-T6 heat-treated aircraft-grade aluminum construction. Likewise, the hard anodized finish and high-temp, glass-filled nylon endcaps help provide rugged durability. Featuring M-LOK slots running both sides and the bottom, the forend provides versatility to your Remington 870 platform for attaching lights and other accessories.
The Truckee for Remington 870 is available in three different lengths, so you get just what you need. Starting with the shortest, the 7 ½ inch model is compatible with the Mesa Tactical SureShell Carrier with Fallon Rail. However, if you require more M-LOK capacity, you can opt for either the 9- or 10 ½-inch model, but they are not compatible with the SureShell Carrier.
As with all Mesa Tactical products, the Truckee Forend has a hassle-free installation. Correspondingly, it requires no modifications to the firearm or special gunsmithing skills. Likewise, it includes a special forend nut wrench to make the job even easier.

Engineered and manufactured in the United States, the Truckee is constructed of 6061-T6 heat-treated aircraft-grade aluminum. Likewise, the use of lightweight materials ensures that the Truckee won’t add undue weight to the forend of your Beretta 1301.
When installed, the Truckee provides M-LOK accessory attachment points running along both sides and the bottom. As a result, you can upgrade your shotgun with options like light mounts, vertical grips, etc. If your accessories are designed for Picatinny rails, the industry-standard M-LOK slots also accept Picatinny rail sections as well.
Featuring an easy installation process, the Truckee installs in seconds without the need for modification, a gunsmith, or gunsmithing skills.
