There is no shortage of accessories for the AR platform, and handgun owners are now offered plenty of ways to customize their semi-auto pistols. Shotguns haven’t gotten quite the same level of love, but Mesa Tactical has addressed that fact with the release of its Truckee forend, which has already been available for the Benelli M4, Beretta 1301, and Remington 870 shotguns.
Now, in 2024, the forend is arriving for the Mossberg 930 and Mossberg 940 semi-automatic tactical shotgun models.
Made entirely in the United States, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, and equipped with M-LOK slots on each of the sides and bottom, the Truckee forends promise versatile accessory attachment options. They also feature a black hard anodized finish for added durability and protection.
“In the last few years, the aluminum Truckee forend has become the surprise star of the Mesa Tactical product line,” explained Mitch Barrie, President of Mesa Tactical. “The Mossberg 930 and Mossberg 940 are far from the first shotguns we’ve supported with this forend, and they won’t be the last.”
The Mesa Tactical Truckee for the Mossberg 930 and 940 shotguns can be installed with no tools. It is available now for $164.95 (MSRP).
