Riton Optics, an Arizona-based optics company, has released the newest addition to its family of optics: the ARD or AR-Dot optic model. The new optic is specifically designed for use on an AR platform, rifles, or pistols and can be mounted with many different options.
Designed for use on the AR platform, the new 1 Tactix ARD 2 optic features plenty of features users of that platform could want. True to the AR platform, the 1 Tactix ARD 2 offers adaptability and flexibility, customization with multiple brightness settings, and a multi-reticle to match the user’s needs. With features like high-quality glass, nitrogen-purged housing, and a company warranty, it’s sure to meet consumers’ needs.
“There’s no one way to use an AR in the field, so an optic has to be able to provide the flexibility required by users,” said Chris Varas, Assistant Director of Product at Riton. “The 1 Tactix ARD 2 gives shooters a lot of functionality and does so at a price that isn’t a barrier to entry.”
The 1 Tactix ARD 2 optic is loaded with high-end features that help it stand out in a packed market. Utilizing Riton’s High-Density glass, the new offering offers 99.5% light transmission for a better picture and clarity for the user, according to the company. The optic offers users the choice between a simple 2 MOA dot or a 30 MOA circle to meet their comfort and needs for the experience. The optic can be mounted in two different height configurations as well for added comfort.

The new Riton 1 Tactix ARD 2 optic comes from the factory with a Cantilever QD Picatinny mount, a low-height Picatinny mount, flip-up caps, hex keys, and a cleaning cloth. It is available now and has an MSRP of just $229.99.
