Upon seeing the firearm, Claud reportedly abandoned his advance and quickly fled the scene in his vehicle. Law enforcement promptly initiated an investigation and managed to locate Claud’s vehicle later in West Haven. They tracked him to a nearby business, where he was subsequently arrested.
Following the arrest, Claud faced multiple charges, including threatening in the second degree, illegal possession of a deadly weapon, and second-degree breach of peace.
Authorities have confirmed that Claud’s actions were not random, suggesting that there was a prior connection or conflict between the individuals involved. Police have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat related to this incident.
