New Night Sights Shock Gun Owners

XS Sights has added the CZ P-09 Nocturne to its R3D 2.0 night sight lineup, giving owners of that pistol a tritium-based upgrade aimed at faster target acquisition in low light.

Key points

• The sights: The R3D 2.0 set is a 3-dot notch-and-post design with a tritium-centered Glow Dot front sight, available in green or orange, paired with two rear tritium dots.
• The design logic: Per XS Sights, the front sight is built larger and brighter than the rear dots so your eye snaps to it and the target downrange instead of hunting across all three dots.
• Current options: Only one standard configuration exists for the P-09 Nocturne right now, green dot only, with no optic-ready or suppressor-height version yet listed.
• Warranty: Covered by XS Sights' limited lifetime warranty, plus a 12-year warranty specifically on the tritium illumination.
• Price and availability: MSRP is $128.12, and the sights are reportedly in stock and shipping now, according to The Firearm Blog.

Quick take

This is a straightforward iron-sight upgrade, not a reinvention. If your P-09 Nocturne is a nightstand or carry gun and you're still running factory sights, tritium night sights are one of the cheaper, more practical upgrades you can make. Just note the limited configuration for now if you're running an optic or suppressor-height sights elsewhere on your build.
